Daniel R. Hock OD FAAO, FCOVD Dr. Hock received his undergraduate degree from Colorado State University and his doctorate degree in 1995 from Pacific University College of Optometry in Oregon, where he was distinguished with the Butterworth-Heinemann Award for Clinical Excellence in Vision Therapy. As a member of the American Optometric Association and the Colorado Optometric Association, he serves as a committee member on the Children’s Vision Task Force and participates as an InfantSee Provider and in the Sight for Students Program.
Dr. Hock practices full scope, primary care optometry including the treatment of medical conditions that affect vision such as Glaucoma and Diabetes as well as monitoring patients with macular degeneration. He provides consultations for primary physicians and specialists as well as manages Lasik patients pre and post operatively. Dr. Hock is specialty trained in behavioral optometry, and outside of general family eye care, his interests include working with special needs children, the learning disabled and sport vision enhancement. He feels very fortunate to practice in the community in which he was born and raised. |

Nicole Wellensiek OD Dr Wellensiek received her undergraduate and doctorate degrees from Indiana University, after which she returned to her home state of Nebraska and practiced for seven years before moving to Colorado in 2004. Dr Wellensiek has practiced in a variety of clinical settings, always practicing full scope optometry. She has special interest in treating dry eyes and in lasik consultation and management.
Dr Wellensiek has been an investigator for phase II and phase IV FDA clinical trials in the areas of diabetic eye research and contact lens care systems. |
